100+ keen paddlers, 10km of adventure time on the bay, just shy of $65,000 raised for the Cancer Council, PERFECT weather for it and a fantastic atmosphere and camaraderie from everyone on the water made the 2016 Paddle Across the Bay to Conquer Cancer a raging success!
Congratulations to Across the Bay Events for all their 
hard work and dedication in getting this great event together for a great cause. On behalf of the paddlers I’m certain everyone had a great time (& some will be a bit sore tomorrow when they wake up) and enjoyed the support from all those around them. Well done guys!
Warwick & Chris from KR SUP CENTRE were out there helping with safety and technique tips to make it a bit easier for those out there on the water. Justin, Jean and Dave were also out there doing a great job helping everyone along.
Would absolutely recommend getting involved in Across the Bay 2017 when the opportunity arises.
