Description
Core Ripper 5 Surfboard
SIZES: 4’11” | 5’2″ | 5’5″
SMALL WAVE FUN MEETS SERIOUS FREESTYLE
The compact Badger bridges the gap between the 720 and the Ripper. With a lot of volume in the nose and a fish tail, the Badger was specially developed for surfing in small (wind) swell and also has an extremely high freestyle suitability.
The brand new construction of an XPS core and Glass-Soric sandwich is impregnated by infusion – this is unique and guarantees excellent strength of the board. We are looking forward to the feedback from the scene.
SHAPE
FISH-OUTLINE
In general, a fishtail takes up some space from the tail and lengthens the rail. The result is that a fish can be “forced” extremely well into small, snappy turns, but also the long rail with the small radius ensures that wide radius can be surfed with a lot of grip and high speed.
CONSTRUCTION
DESIGNED IN GERMANY.
HANDMADE IN SPAIN.
Developed in Fehmarn and produced by experienced shapers in Spain. The Green Room is handcrafted to guarantee one hundred percent dimensional precision and the specific glass board performance that passionate Green Room fans expect.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND ROBUST
Inside the sandwich construction is the EPS core, a lightweight, densely foamed material with high damping and deformation properties. This gives the board somewhat “softer” properties for a particularly dynamic ride. The shell made of the extremely strong T10 in the top deck, as well as a fiberglass-epoxy resin laminate make the board light and robust.
STRAP-READY
The V4A stainless steel inserts laminated into the deck provide the freedom to decide whether you want to ride your Green Room with or without straps. The wooden stringer has been removed from the board, now the inserts sit in two separate inserts, which has a weight-saving effect.
THRUSTER FIN SETUP
Thruster setups stand for greater agility and tighter turns compared to quad setups. In addition, they detach more easily from the water during radical maneuvers on the wave lip.
Thruster setups are the most widely used fin setup, stand for high agility and allow tight turns. They detach more easily from the water during radical maneuvers on the wave lip than quad setups.
