This 2-hour Group Beginner Lesson is the perfect way to see if Wing Foiling is for you and make a plan to enter the sport safely while having an amazing first lesson experience. All gear and wetsuit provided.

The small group learning environment (Maximum 3 students) gives you plenty of time both experiencing time progressing on the wing as well as to digest the concepts and ask plenty of questions along the way. This is second only to the experience of a Private Lesson.

If you do not wish to arrange your own group, then we will organize others to join you. The lesson will run with a minimum of 2 people. If you’re the only person booked on the day, you’ll have the option to upgrade to a private lesson at a slightly reduced rate or reschedule.

During this lesson, you can expect to learn and spend lots of time practicing wing skills; you will also very importantly learn the specific safety awareness points that will leave you with the ability to safely practice and build the rest of your skills to reach ultimate independence.

During this lesson, our goal is to have you reach the point of controlling and having a ball on a larger ‘floaty’ style board. We will not introduce the foil under the board until a later stage in the process. This is very normal, and the foil will be introduced once you’ve reached confidence on the wing with a larger board first.

After this lesson, you will be able to discuss with your instructor what your best step forward is with regards to equipment/lessons/meeting people, etc., and they can help you make a plan to reach your goals.
