Hi guys,
can’t wait for a great weekend ahead. Some info and final bits for everyone as we get closer…
Car Pooling:
Currently we have someone requesting a lift from Cape Patterson we have not fulfilled… if you’re going this way and have a seat please let us know.
We have a lot of single drivers. If you’re keen to jump in with someone else, we currently have spare seats with people leaving Bentleigh East, St Kilda and Cranbourne. If you’d like to jump in we’ll put you in touch.
Cars in Campground – As there are many of us driving those that are staying in their car will be able to leave their car in the campground. The others will need to move their cars outside to create space. They’re still within about 50-100m from the camp spots.
Arrival timing & location:
As per booking information the camp will officially start at 9:30am on Saturday morning at the Shallow Inlet Camp Ground Kite Spot where we’ll be making plans and working out whether it’s setup time or chase the wind time already.
As there is a 2 night minimum, you are all booked Friday Night as well if you’d like to come down early. If you’re coming Friday head directly to the Shallow Inlet Caravan Park and let them know you’re in the Kite Republic group.
Food Notes:
As per previous notes we will be taking care of food for Saturday: Lunch & Dinner, Sunday: Breakfast & Lunch. If you’re coming down outside of these times or require extra meals/snacks etc. please make sure you bring along what you need.
Extra’s to bring:
Camping gear, kiteboarding gear, games for campground/beach, drinks, extra snacks etc.
The locations you’ll need for the weekend are:
- Shallow Inlet Caravan Park – Come straight here if checking in early or on Friday Night
- Shallow Inlet Camp Ground Kite Spot – Initial Meeting Point 9:30am Saturday
- Shallow Inlet Sand Dunes Kite Spot
- Sandy Point Surf Beach
