We are just back from Aitutaki Winter escape kiting trip and it was truly one of the best trips we’ve had. The spot is... unbelievably beautiful, flat water, white sand, clear and bright turquoise water. You couldn’t hope for a better spot to make your progression. Chris and the KR team provided clinics and amazing coaching and there was extra gear to try on (foils, wing, etc). They also made every non windy day super special, with some of the best snorkeling I’ve had, and humpback whale swimming which is just the most magical experience. The trip was very well organised and went super smoothly, they also catered for my family which made it super special. We couldn’t have hoped for a better trip, especially coming out of 2 years of lockdown! Thank you Chris and the KR team!read more

Due to covid i thought the delivery would... be delay ,
it only spent less then a week and I received my parcel from au to hk.

I found Kite republic’s service very personalised to each customer. They have a excellent gear range to fit my riding... style as a beginner and as I keep progressing in the sport. Hands down, one of the best schools I have visited. The atmosphere among the staff is super nice. Everyone is so... friendly and lively. As a total newbie to this sport, I went to KR seeking advice on equipment - specifically harnesses. Chris gave me... upfront and honest advice about what I needed, there was no attempt to upsell me to the latest and greatest equipment, just honest advice about what would be best for me.
It was very refreshing to be given advice that suited my skill level and to be treated respectfully no matter how silly I thought my questions were.

It’s very difficult to have lesson during the weekend if you buy discounted voucher by other providers (Groupon), the... excuse was the weather but actually in February it was sunny and not so windy (considering that it was the first lesson..)...maybe easier during the week, if you don’t work...it would be better if you clearly say that by discounted voucher you can only have lesson between mon-frid when you have low attendance..at least we avoid to lose time and kiter can make an aware choice if buy or not...read more

I just wanted to say how grateful I am to the whole KR crew for teeing me up with my gear and looking after me the last... week. From the day I walked in there two months ago Carlos and Cesar were extremely welcoming and hooked me up with a fantastic kite at a great price. Just bought my very first SUP and Zac and the team at Kite Republic were fantastic. Living in Lord Howe Island, it is... often difficult/expensive to get larger items shipped here - but Zac made it so easy and very affordable, and the SUP and accessories arrived in perfect condition. Needed a seat harness for my aching back & found one on sale. Received an email & PH call from Chris the next morning... as they had already sold the last one. As it was going to be a public holiday, the next day in Melbourne, Kite Republic arranged for the Supplier to send the harness directly to me, which I received the following day. I have been kiting for over 12 years. I just bought 2 x North Dice and a Jaime board while I was in Sydney from the US... on business. Given the very short trip, I had Sarah ship them directly to a hotel in Sydney. The quality of customer service was something I have never seen before from a kite store. Not only was KR aggressive on price, but they were also extremely knowledgeable about the product line and could provide highly informed advice. They also understood the very compressed time frame in which to get the kite shipped to Sydney before I left and jumped through hoops to ensure that happened. I will definitely be back to KR on my next trip to Oz.read more
