A retractable leash that stays out of the way until you need it
The Ride Engine RE_Tractable Reel Leash Base is a lightweight retractable board leash engineered for wing foiling, parawinging and downwind missions. It stores 1.8 metres of Kevlar-reinforced webbing inside the housing and only deploys it when needed, minimising drag and clutter while keeping you connected to your board in a crash.
A PVD-coated titanium spring resists corrosion and is tuned for foiling, so the leash retracts smoothly and keeps the board close without aggressively pulling it back. The Base is the DIY option — it comes with mounting hardware and webbing loops so you can attach it to a harness, belt or calf strap of your choice.
