Reedin SuperModel A.F.T. 2026 Kite

Price range: $2,599.00 through $3,459.00 inc GST

The Reedin SuperModel A.F.T. 2026 is the do-it-all kite — built for every discipline, every condition, and every rider. The 2026 model introduces A.F.T. (Aerolite Frame Technology): a new high-tenacity material that’s stiffer, lighter, and more responsive than the previous construction. Improved bridle geometry makes jumping easier, depower greater, and the kite even more intuitive. Available in Mint, Blue, and Grey in 5–12m.

Any Conditions. All Disciplines. SuperModel Does It.

The Reedin SuperModel is the kite that started it all — built on the belief that you should never have to switch kites when changing disciplines or location. Whether you’re throwing kiteloops, surfing waves, riding unhooked freestyle, or light-wind foiling, SuperModel handles it all with the same intuitive ease. Kevin Langeree describes it as an extension of his body — you always feel where the kite is and what it’s doing, so you can focus entirely on your riding.

The 2026 A.F.T. version takes this further with Aerolite Frame Technology — a new high-tenacity polyester material already proven in Reedin wings. Aerolite is stiffer in both weft and warp, giving a more stable arc and faster, more precise steering response, while remaining lighter than the previous construction. Combined with rebalanced bridle geometry that improves depower and rebalances the tow-point for easier vertical jumps, this is the most refined SuperModel ever built.

Key Features

  • A.F.T. — Aerolite Frame Technology — New high-tenacity material: stiffer arc, lighter weight, smoother torsion for quick and precise steering
  • Rebalanced Bridle Geometry — Greater depower, rebalanced tow-point for easier vertical jumps and endless hangtime
  • True Do-It-All Kite — Massive lift and hangtime for big air, excellent drift for waves, instant response for freestyle and kiteloops
  • Intuitive Handling — Feels like an extension of your body; minimal input for maximum results in any discipline
  • Lighter Construction — New ultralight 90gsm strut material reduces overall weight for quicker response and faster flying
  • Improved Kiteloop Performance — Consistent pull through the entire loop, keeps accelerating and catches comfortably every time
  • All-Condition Stability — Tested worldwide in every imaginable condition; absorbs gusts and holds shape under pressure
  • Available in 3 Colourways — Mint, Blue, Grey

Why We Recommend It

If you want one kite in the bag that covers everything — boosting, waves, freestyle, foiling, kiteloops — the SuperModel is the answer. It’s genuinely good at all of them, not just serviceable. The 9m is the most popular all-round size for Melbourne conditions; the 12m covers lighter days; the 7m handles the big stuff. Pair with the DreamStick X for the complete Reedin setup.
