Construction
The Edge VT Ultra-X uses a full Aluula airframe throughout — no Dacron anywhere. Aluula is a proprietary composite material combining ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibres with a specialised polymer matrix, delivering extraordinary stiffness and strength at minimal weight. The combined leading edge and five-strut airframe weighs just 82 g. The canopy is Teijin TechnoForce D2 Double Ripstop at 46 g/m² with advanced UV coating for durability. Bladders are custom in-house welded with double-layered wear areas. Bridle lines are high-performance Technora for minimal stretch and reduced parasitic drag.
