Compact. Reactive. Made for the Wave.
The KT Drifter Surf Carbon is a true performance prone surf foilboard — compact, carbon-light, and built to make every part of a surf session better. Efficient paddling gets you into waves early. A stable, intuitive pop-up gets you to your feet fast. And once you’re on the foil, the subtle double displacement hull with tri-plane bevels gives you clean release, predictable recovery through whitewash, and genuine agility through committed turns and aggressive lines. It also works beautifully for tow foiling and advanced wing foiling in the surf.
Full biaxial and UD carbon construction with S-glass reinforcement keeps weight down and torsional stiffness up — the Drifter Surf communicates what’s happening under your feet directly and honestly. Moderate low-profile rocker with subtle nose kick and tail rocker sets up natural wave entry without catching, while almond bevel rails through the midsection transition cleanly for carving through critical sections. Integrated 2.4 GHz windows keep foil assist compatibility open across all three sizes.

Size Guide
27L (4’3″) — Lighter and more experienced prone foilers, 30–75 kg (prone) / 30–90 kg (tow). Maximum reactivity and surf feel; demands confidence in the lineup and efficient paddling.
33L (4’4″) — The most versatile size, 65–85 kg. Great balance of paddling speed, pop-up stability, and reactive performance once airborne. The pick for most intermediate prone foilers.
38L (4’5″) — Heavier prone riders or those transitioning from bigger boards, 75–95 kg. More paddle power and a more forgiving pop-up without sacrificing the reactive character of the Drifter Surf.
Why We Recommend It
The Drifter Surf Carbon is purpose-built for riders who are serious about prone surf foiling and want a board that performs, not just floats. If you’re catching your own waves — not getting towed — this is the right tool. Compared to the Drifter Mini, it’s wider, longer, and more paddle-friendly; compared to the Super K or Ginxu range, it’s far more compact and reactive in the surf. Most medium-weight prone foilers should start at the 33L; if you’re under 75 kg and already solid on the foil, the 27L will feel alive and direct from the first session.
