Join us bright and early at 8 am at the Kite Republic School, St Kilda West Beach. Forecast check done, plans locked in, and ready to roll by 8:15 am.
What’s a Ride Day?
It’s the ultimate social adventure for kiteboarders and wing foilers of all levels! We chase the best wind around Victoria and set up for a full day on the water. If conditions don’t deliver, we’ll reschedule—no wasted days.
Expect a day packed with:

Epic kite and wing sessions at the best spot of the day

On-the-water coaching with KR instructors

Demo gear and backup equipment available

Surfing or SUP options if the wind takes a break

BBQ lunch with good vibes (let us know about dietary needs)
Who Can Join?

Kiteboarders: 3+ lessons under your belt and able to water-start
-
Wing foilers: confident handling your wing and returning to shore on your knees
From there—you’re in! Whether you’re just getting started or already boosting high, you’ll have instructors and some of Victoria’s best riders around to push your skills and share the stoke.
Why You’ll Love It
Ride Days are about progression, fun, and community. You’ll meet fellow frothers, fill in gaps in your technique, and gain confidence with support from experienced coaches.
Limited Spots
Spaces are capped at 18 riders with a 6:1 ratio (riders to instructor) to keep the quality high. These always fill fast—don’t miss your chance.
Transport
We’ll carpool to the location of the day. Throw your driver $20 to cover costs. If your car’s not needed, there’s free parking at KR School.
Cost
$139 covers the day, instructors, and BBQ lunch.

Insurance
It’s a participation requirement to hold valid Kiteboarding Australia sanctioned insurance. This protects you every session you have but is a must for KR Club Activities. Use the KR Community discount code and save. More information here.
