Purpose-built for foil riders who want cut protection from the waist down without the full-length coverage of tights. The ION Surf Shield Boardshorts use the same HPPE cut-resistant fabric as the rest of the Surf Shield series, providing Level 4 EN388 protection against fin and foil edges in a familiar boardshort format.

A slightly snugger cut than a traditional boardshort gives added coverage and keeps the shorts in place during riding. The adjustable waistband lace, zippered back pocket, and 20″ inseam length make these as practical as they are protective.
