Harlem Peak Kite
The Harlem Peak is a five-strut Big Air machine built for one purpose: going higher. Designed by Ralf Groesel from Brainchild Production and five-time World Champion Aaron Hadlow, the Peak delivers instant vertical lift, massive hangtime and smooth second-lift recovery. It’s the kite Lorenzo Casati rode to become the 2025 Big Air World Champion and win King of the Air — and it’s available in 6m through 12m to cover a wide range of wind conditions for serious big air riding.
The Peak sits above the Thrive in the Harlem range — more struts, higher bar pressure, more direct and precise feedback, and a flight path tuned specifically for maximum altitude rather than all-round versatility. If you’re chasing your highest boost, refining your mega-loops or competing at big air events, this is the kite for the job.
Key Features
- 5-strut airframe — more rigid structure than a 3-strut kite, delivering superior shape stability at high speeds and in strong gusts
- PROWELD leading edge — heat-welded seams reduce LE weight while increasing stiffness, strength and airtightness
- Twincross Flylite canopy — ultra-light European canopy material maximising performance-to-weight ratio
- Laminated Mylar struts — rigid, dimensionally stable struts that maintain canopy shape in any condition
- One-side pulley bridle system — precision front-line geometry for direct steering input and enhanced control when overpowered
- Deep wind window flight — accessible take-off zone even in marginal big air conditions
- Medium-light bar pressure — effortless steering despite the 5-strut rigidity
- Made in Europe — Brainchild Production, sustainable materials and digital eco-printing

Construction
The Peak uses the same PROWELD and Twincross Flylite technology as the Thrive, but the five-strut airframe changes the performance character fundamentally. Five struts mean more attachment points along the leading edge, which reduces the flex and deformation of the canopy under high load — critical when you’re edging hard at 35 knots before a big air take-off. The one-side pulley bridle system uses a single pulley on one side of the front-line attachment to create asymmetric bridle geometry; this allows the kite to pivot more precisely during steering input and provides a natural stopper effect when you’re overpowered, giving you a clear physical reference point without requiring constant bar position management. The result is a kite that feels predictable and trustworthy at the extreme ends of its wind range.
Why We Recommend It
The Peak is for committed big air riders. If your sessions revolve around chasing your highest boost, getting comfortable with kite loops and megaloop progression, or competing in big air events — this is the kite that will help you get there. Lorenzo Casati won King of the Air 2025 on it, his brother Leonardo finished second on it. That’s not a marketing claim, that’s a result. We stock the full 6–12m range at Kite Republic, and our recommendation is to pair the Peak with the Harlem Lead Bar V2 and Ascent kiteboard for a purpose-built big air system. For everything else, look at the Thrive.
