The CORE Orca Pro is a performance fin set built for twintip riders who want more from their edge. Developed in collaboration with CORE team riders, the Orca Pro uses a heelside-only fin configuration that reduces drag on the toeside while concentrating grip and downforce exactly where you need it — on the heelside edge as you load up for take-off. The result is harder edge loading, longer power build-up and significantly more explosive lift.

The curved fin profile generates targeted downforce on the heelside rail, keeping the board locked to its track at high speeds and through chop, without the board washing out when you’re pushing maximum edge angle before a boost. Surface structure is dual-purpose: textured zones for grip during edge loading, smooth sections on the trailing edge for clean water release and reduced drag in flight.

Each set includes two fins, four screws and four washers. Unisize. Two mounting configurations available — CORE/Carved Performance Setup for maximum edge performance, or Universal Setup (standard Orca drill pattern) for increased agility. You can also mix Orca Pro heelside fins with EQ Pro or EQ fins on the toeside for a custom setup.

Construction

The Orca Pro is manufactured via precision injection moulding using long-fibre carbon-reinforced composite — a material class that achieves near-carbon-fibre stiffness at a lower production cost, with better impact resistance than woven carbon due to the random orientation of the long fibres throughout the matrix. The injection moulding process ensures identical geometry across every fin, which matters for a set used in pairs: any asymmetry between left and right fins would create unpredictable handling. The curved profile is a deliberate departure from standard flat fin geometry — the curvature creates a pressure differential along the heelside rail that keeps the board pressed into its edge rather than allowing it to slide out, which is the limiting factor in edge loading for most twintip riders at high speeds.
