Core 720 III Surfboard
SIZES: 4’11” | 5’1″ | 5’3″
STRAPLESS FREESTYLE ELEVATED TO PERFECTION
With the 720 III, we are sending our bestseller into the next round – freshly equipped with significant improvements in terms of weight and shape details. Through many iterative adjustments, we were able to build the board even thinner and thus lighter and decisively approach a flat deck. Definitely one of the most advanced freestyle surfboards on the market.
SHAPE
ULTRA-COMPACT OUTLINE
In addition to its compact shape, it has a much lower mass compared to our other surfboard models, a big plus for air tricks and rotations. This compact shape also cuts a fine figure in the wave.
QUAD CONCAVE UNDERBODY
At the bottom the 720 features a distinctive channel, a double concave and framed by two more concaves. This combination ensures butter smooth landings and effortlessly compensates for violent choppy conditions.
FLAT ROCKER
The flat rocker curve in combination with the underbody gives the board a very controllable edging behavior, before the jump, as well as in the bottom turn.
GRAB-RAILS
The 720 has received grab-rails for easier freestyle tricks. They are designed so that the thumb and heel of the hand find perfect grip in the rail when grabbing quickly.
NOSE ROCKER
We slightly increased the nose rocker for toeside riding, bad landings, and bigger waves.
CONSTRUCTION
DESIGNED IN GERMANY.
HANDMADE IN SPAIN.
Developed in Fehmarn and produced by experienced shapers in Spain. The Green Room is handcrafted to guarantee one hundred percent dimensional precision and the specific glass board performance that passionate Green Room fans expect.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND ROBUST
Inside the sandwich construction is the EPS core, a lightweight, densely foamed material with high damping and deformation properties. This gives the board somewhat “softer” properties for a particularly dynamic ride. The shell made of the extremely strong T10 in the top deck, as well as a fiberglass-epoxy resin laminate make the board light and robust.
STRAP-READY
The V4A stainless steel inserts laminated into the deck provide the freedom to decide whether you want to ride your Green Room with or without straps. The wooden stringer has been removed from the board, now the inserts sit in two separate inserts, which has a weight-saving effect.
THRUSTER FIN SETUP
Thruster setups stand for greater agility and tighter turns compared to quad setups. In addition, they detach more easily from the water during radical maneuvers on the wave lip.
Thruster setups are the most widely used fin setup, stand for high agility and allow tight turns. They detach more easily from the water during radical maneuvers on the wave lip than quad setups.
