Carved Ultra 2 Pads & Straps
The Carved Ultra 2 pads and straps bring snowboard binding-level adjustability to your kiteboard. The PowerTrim system uses a click-buckle ratchet mechanism borrowed directly from snowboard design — micro-adjustable on the fly, easy to tighten mid-session and just as easy to release in the water. Compared to standard kiteboard straps, the Ultra 2 offers significantly more stance customisation and a sportier, more direct board feel without sacrificing comfort on long sessions.
Compatible with all boards using 16.5cm insert spacing — which covers the vast majority of modern twintips including the Carved Imperator Pro. Not compatible with the Imperator V (older insert pattern). Available in Size S (EU 32–38) and Size L (EU 42–44).

Construction
The Ultra 2 baseplate is designed with a dual-axis adjustment grid that allows the entire pad to move fore-aft and laterally before locking down with the included screws. The strap tongues — four per set — use CARVED’s Strap Lock Wing design, each adjustable independently in both axes to accommodate different foot shapes and riding preferences. The ratchet buckle mechanism is the key differentiator: instead of a loop-and-velcro strap that loosens through session, the PowerTrim click-buckle maintains consistent tension and can be tightened with a single thumb motion while riding. The pad foam is tuned for a sportier feel compared to CARVED’s Union Comfort pads — slightly firmer, with less travel between foot and board, which improves edge feedback and pop response for performance-focused riding.
