The first camp of the 2017/18 summer season was a huge success, with everyone enjoying time on the water and progressing heaps (along with lots of fun and games in the campsite in the evening)!
The wind didnt quite work for Inverloch with the direction not being ideal, so the KRew took a trip down to Sandy Point for the day on the Saturday where the wind was firing 20-30kts. There was a huge amount of progression, lots of first upwind rides, learning to change direction, and some of the more advanced guys showing off their skills with some amazing boosted jumps.
Sundays wind forecast wasnt quite as strong, but still held up a good 15-20kts down at Sandy Point, and everyone got to work on skills without getting punished as much. We also saw some interesting use of the SUP’s out on the water too 🙂
