We are so lucky living here in Melbourne. In every different wind direction we have it covered!

The KR KITE CLUB Ride Day on Sunday was a prime example of this. The Northerly meant it wasn't going to be much chop (no pun intended) around the top of the bay, so when we met bright and early that morning everyone was very excited when the call was made and Rosebud was the spot!



Wanting it to be another great one for conditions for his last Ride Day of the season, Martin, who heads home to Sweden for a few months before next season was super excited when we arrived and the wind was already pumping.



Everyone was up and riding and it was great to see Michael ripping out the back rolls in both directions. Javier was loving my old school 17m Gin Maori when the winds dropped down for a little while the girls, Melissa, Karin, Lisa, Maike and Stef were looking great out there on the water.

It was fantastic to see everyone working together so well and amazing to see the confidence gains out there on the water when good instruction in coupled with a few hours on the water.



A huge thankyou to Kite Republic Team Riders Ewan Jaspan and Declan McCarthy for their help in working with the advanced group. The guys were making great progress!

We got a good 4 or 5 hours on the water before a bit of static electricity started to be felt and we packed up for the day to see Roger Federer tear Andy Murray apart in the final of the Oz Open.
